Springfield Ballet hosted the Princess Tea & Fashion Show

 The Springfield Ballet hosted the Princess Tea & Fashion Show at The Tower Club. April 1, 2012.

We were so excited to be invited to show off our fashions. We thought our models were the prettiest. ( Not that we're bias!)

This was a high-tea (the highest in Springfield!) for princesses of all ages and oh how cute they were!

 A four-course luncheon was served and all princesses enjoyed a fashion show, dancing with Springfield Ballet, a silent auction and more!

Our models did a fabulous job and helped show how much fun we have at The Red Poppy!

     Dallas Market Center is the world's most complete wholesale marketplace.

     Last weekend we took the seven or 6 hours depending on who was driving, (we won't mention any names!!) hour trek down to the big D (Dallas) for market. For those not in the industry, market takes place at the Dallas World Trade Center every 3 months. The Dallas Market Center is the world’s largest wholesale merchandise mart, showcasing apparel, gifts, home and garden furnishings, lighting, and floral and gourmet products. A shopping paradise for designers and retail store owners alike.

   Our main objective for the trip was to familiarize ourselves with the vendors and showrooms that are all housed inside the WTC. By our aching feet and sore muscles, we can guarantee you that we walked from 8am until 6pm covering as much as we could and still not seeing it all! That's how big this place is.

     Our second objective was to keep our creative minds going. Looking for that special new vendor to bring class and style to our customers at affordable pricing! I think we accomplished this and you are going to have your socks knocked off this Spring!!

     Last objective was to take in some girl-partner bonding time! There's nothing like a little girl time to get all those emotions out, help solve worldly problems and just plain act SILLY!

     We had a blast, it was a tremendous amount of work but well worth every minute. We can't wait to return for the next market.
